The Department of Information Technology conducted a Parent-Teacher Interaction (PTI) on April 20th, 2024, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, specifically for parents of 4th and 6th semester students. Dr. M.V. Bramhe, Head of the Department, commenced the interaction by presenting key highlights and initiatives of the Institute and Department, emphasizing the importance of academic, placements, and skill development activities. During his address, Dr. Bramhe elaborated on the Principal’s flagship student scheme, explaining the selection process and associated benefits.
Outstanding students excelling in academics, co-curricular, and extracurricular activities were felicitated with saplings, alongside their parents. The session also included valuable suggestions from parents for departmental development. With a turnout of 38 parents, the event was smoothly coordinated by Prof. Priti C. Golar and the IT department faculty members. A feedback form was distributed, and refreshments were provided, fostering a collaborative atmosphere for meaningful
interactions aimed at enhancing student development. Lastly, the flagship students and their parents interacted with the Head of IT and faculty members to gain insights into the flagship scheme and forthcoming activities to be carried out in the coming days.
