| Description of event | Google Developer Students Club, SVPCET was installed on 23rd October, and an orientation program was organized to disclose team members, discuss future plans, display the website and also interact with experienced speakers. The event was open to 100 students and was streamed live on YouTube. Event was initiated by welcoming the guests and lightening lamp with scripture reading. Dr. Manoj Bramhe, HOD-IT & Coordinator of Industry Institute Interaction Cell interacted with the students about GDSC. Saniya Imroze, GDSC lead, addressed the gathering, stating the importance and plans of GDSC. Dr. Surendra Gole, Principal, guided and motivated the gathering. Fr. James, Assistant Director, SVPCET presented his views on the community and wished the team for their future endeavors. Mr. Swaroop Gandewar, Consultant L&D, Regalix and Organizer & Host, LinkedIN Local, Nagpur introduced LinkedIn, it’s features, and shared its role in an engineer’s life. Mr. Shantanu Vishwananda is a Backend Engineer at Mzaalo, Mumbai, a Blockchain Consultant, an Organizer of GDG Nagpur, a Co-founder of Procohat, shared his knowledge on “Cloud, Blockchain and Community”. He displayed the roadmap to the technologies and a brief overview of Blockchain. Mr. Anmoldeep Singh Arora continued the session and spoke about Google technologies. He shared his personal experiences on the importance of community, in a student’s life. Students discussed their queries, shared experiences and thoughts openly, during the session. |
