| Description of event | The Department of Information Technology had scheduled an online expert session through Google Meet by Mr. Sanket Joshi, Data Scientist, Logicunlock Solution LLP, Nagpur, on 12th December 2020. Mr. Joshi covered topics like Fuzzy Logic and Natural Language Processing which included: Fuzzy Logic System Architecture, example of FLS, its advantages and disadvantages, key differences between Fuzzy Set and Crisp Set. He also threw light on applications of Natural Language Processing (NLP) like Automatic Summarization, Speech Recognition & Classification, Character Recognition, Market Intelligence, Chatbots & Voice Assistance, Customer Support, etc. This was followed by an explanation on Python Code. Students of the Department, 4th year, participated in the session, it helped them to dive deeper into the subject and was enumerated with a host of real-life examples adding to their benefit. The session came to a close with the Question- Answer round, the expert clearing their doubts. All topics included in the session were seemingly relevant for the students being a part of their current syllabus, thus strengthening their knowledge base.The session was conducted under III Cell by Prof. Pooja |
