| Description of event | The Department of Information Technology conducted a motivational guest lecture on 17th December, 2020, for their students. The session expert was Mr. Rushikesh Thawale, current final year student, heading ‘RushThaw Media LLP, Nagpur’. Mr. Thawale initiated the session by elaborately sharing his childhood experiences and interest in the particular topic. He explained about the concepts of ‘Blogging / Digital Marketing as a Business’ and about his website InformerFox, where he’s an embedded developer. He also gave a brief description of ‘What is SEO? And how to earn through it’. Mr. Thawale discussed about various websites that help in analyzing the statuses of what to look for in the search engine and how it can help in refining one’s website content. He explained about Google Algorithm, how to crack it, how to beat the Google Bot, freelancing and digital marketing. This was followed by a Q&A round. The session was informative, interactive and helpful, encouraging students to clarify any doubts. It was organized under the IEDC Cell by Prof. Pooja Walke.
